Parent Information

Spring Break is here and it is important that students continue to exercise their brains and their thinking skills.  Therefore, I have assigned homework for this period.  The homework is linked.  Just have the students do a little per day.

March 11,2014
This week homework is a Math Packet which is not uploaded to the blog.  Reading is reading for 30 minutes and write a Summary of what was read.

Attendance is very important and especially this week.  We will be taking three district assessments this week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  Please make sure that your child is here on time and everyday this week and throughout the year.  Students miss a lot when they are absent.

During the orientation, I will review homework policy and other important things that you will need to know to stay informed and connected. I look forward to seeing you at this time. Please check the blog frequently and occasionally leave a message. This is another form of communication for us.

Students have been reading Tall Tales, Fables and sequencing events in the stories.  They need to be able to identify the characteristics of these two genres.
